    Power Outage Today

Our power company scheduled an outage today and I was planning on making sure the pc would be off but I forgot. When the outage was over and power was restored the pc started by itself. Is there a way to prevent this? I want the pc not to start when this happens and want to start it manually.

    -thx

That is usually a BIOS menu setting to manage automatic boot after a power loss.

We had an unscheduled power outage. The PC rebooted at 4:54 this morning ... fortunately with no troubles.

I always wondered why it would reboot. I wasn't aware there was a BIOS setting for this.
