how does one display/modify existing tasks attached to events

I have a usb-uirt transmitter that sends an infrared signal to two TVs to turn them on or off depending on if the PC waking up or going to sleep, as they are older and unable unable to process monitor-on and monitor-off commands like a normal monitor. I originally set this up by attaching tasks to an event in eventviewer, tasks which I would like to now modify but can't remember exactly which event they are attached to. So I think no problem, I'll just go into even viewer and look at the small handful of events that happen when waking and figure out which has an attached task. Nope. When I go into event viewer I can't figure out how to display *existing* tasks that are attached to anything. And perhaps since the tasks are event driven not schedule driven, they do not appear to be in task scheduler either. These waking and sleeping-attached tasks do work, I just can't figure out where they are! Thanks for any input.

Hi, it sounds like you've mislaid a task you set up. These may help:

For a full searchable linear list of all tasks handled by the task scheduler, try TaskschedulerView by Nirsoft (free).

For a different view of those tasks with different ways to organise them, also searchable, try Autoruns (free) by MS.
Click the Scheduled Tasks tab at the top.

Such tasks are listed in Task scheduler, Task scheduler library, Event viewer tasks.

They can be modified from there.
