    Problems with focus assist

So the last couple of days (I think it's only been that long; time is a mystery to me), when I boot up for the day, my notification center icon indicates that focus assist is turned on. I turn it off from the right click menu, no biggie. But it keeps happening, so today I headed into Settings to figure out how to make it stop, and I apparently don't have focus assist settings. If I search Settings for it, it shows up, but when I click the result nothing happens. If I navigate to System > Notifications & actions, there's a line about focus assist settings, but nothing happens when I click it. Windows version is 22H2, OS build 19045.3208.

From the huge searachable Tutorials section (do feel free to have a look) these may help:
How to Reset Settings App in Windows 10

Reinstall and Re-register Apps in Windows 10
    - perhaps Option 2, and the command for Settings, following the instructions carefully under Option 2 heading.

And of course, if you know this happened recently and have a suitable System Restore point available, you could try using that.

Apologies, I forgot those tutorials were a thing, so thank you for linking them. I did everything in the first link, and had the exact problem with option 2 there that someone in the replies did, with the error message. I also did the second link, and then restarted my computer. I still don't have focus assist settings. I did, however, just find a related discussion (which I also didn't try searching for before posting; it's very early for me). This is exactly what I have happening, so I tried what that person suggested with turning the GeForce overlay off, and it seems to be fixed now.

Great - often worth using tenforums as a useful resource.

    Hello,

In addition, check Focus Assist automatic rules below to make they are turned off. They can automatically turn on Focus Assist.

Do you mean Settings will not open, or the Focus Assist page in Settings will not open?

The focus assist page in settings will not open. I click the link in settings, nothing happens; I search for focus assist in settings, and it shows up in the results, but when I click it, nothing happens. I've tried resetting Settings. It's not a big deal, I sorted out why focus assist was turning on by itself, and I don't use it normally, but I would sort of like to know why the settings don't work.

    Odd that it's missing.

Do you remember doing anything like below to hide the page?
