    How do I create a Window shortcut .lnk which can automatically change?


    Lat say I have this shortcut
    "C:\Users\Home\Desktop\Backup\20230617_101802.jpg"

    I move the Backup to C:\ so it will new path will be like this

    "C:\Backup\20230617_101802.jpg"

    How do I create a Window shortcut .lnk which can automatically change when I move the folder or move it to another computer?

    and

    How do I apply a change to multiple shortcut at once?

    Windows does attempt to resolve such changes.

    However, the attempt to update the shortcut after the target is renamed or moved is only made when the shortcut is used.

    If you make a change to the target, then only view the properties of the shortcut, it still points to the original target.
