    Assistance with file access

The other halfs comp died, hardware issue, motherboard died.
I rebuilt with more or less modern hardware and Windows 10 64 Pro.
System in general works fine, and i added in the old SSD as a secondary drive incase there was anything i didnt get migrated over. The old system was Windows 7 64 Pro incase that matters.

Now here is the problem. She is an author and has a bunch of font files among other resources, and a bunch of the files are png and jog, as well ass font files that several have a yellow padlock icon in the upper right and states that it doesnt have permissions to access it, and her user account should be an administrator.

Can i get some advice for how to get her able to access these items she had purchased before. It has been years since i had to deal with things like this and i just dont remember, and when I did it was in 2k3 server and an xp workstation so been a while lol. Please any help you can offer eould be appreciated.
Also this is NOT on a domain just a home LAN.

Hi, a simple - perhaps crude or even dangerous - approach to permissions issues - to be used with great caution, and not arbitrarily within a functional Windows system- but would be safe when applied to the old Win 7 disk, of course, is to use this:

Add Take Ownership to Context Menu in Windows 10

Where you encounter a file on that Win 7 disk you can't access simply right click it, and click the new option.

As to whether you will be able to transfer the font to a Win 10 system successfully- that will be a matter of what you've actually access to on that disk, and experimentation.

Before doing that, please ensure you protect the Win 10 installation (just in case) by
    a. ensuring System Restore is configured (there's also a tutorial on how to have a restore point created on schedule in case you forget to create one manually)
    b. starting - if you haven't already- to use 3rd party disk imaging regularly and routinely as is endlessly recommended here (to a large enough external USB disk e.g.).
