Nahimic service

I wanted to install reWASD on my laptop. I got this https://i.imgur.com/YPFJQ8m.png. It said that I have Nahimic service enabled and that can mess up reWASD. I looked Nahimic service and I found out that it's audio enhancement which comes with the realtek audio driver.

Will my audio quality worsen if I disable Nahimic service?

How exactly do I disable Nahimic service? People say that it behaves like a virus and it comes back if you uninstall it and it can enable itself. How do I permanently disable it so it doesn't enable itself?

You can try turning off the Service to see if it affects your audio.

Right click the Service -> Properties


After pressing Stop, press OK. Now load up some music or something that plays audio, and listen to see if there's audio quality loss. If not. then for "Startup type", select "Disabled", and try things out.

(Handy note: You said that if you uninstall it, then it will re-install itself. So Disabling it should just turn it off, and keep it off, until you re-enable it.)
