- Foxit reader Find function & Advanced search function can find ABC, MNO and Smith.
These diagrams are of its Advanced search results.]
[I couldn't be bothered to post a diagram of finding ABC.]

I've explained a bit about SearchMyFiles in my ditty using SearchMyFiles for contents search [post #8] - TenForums
- It can find the contents of text files, MSOffice files [Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access] & file properties [such as Artists for an mp3 file].
- With that Use Windows search handlers to find text inside Microsoft Office documents and other file types checkbox set, it can also detect the contents of pdf files. [That checkbox is not actually needed for MSOffice files.]
- File explorer search box finds ABC, MNO & Smith.
[My Indexing options, Advanced, File types, pdf filter is Foxit reader's. It was set up without any help from me when I installed Foxit.]
All the best,
Denis

For comparison:- Foxit reader Find function & Advanced search function can each find MNO but not Smith.
Find in Sumatra Reader can find all 3 instances.
