    Remove Start Menu entries?

There are quite a few Start Menu entries (Files and Folders) that are left over from programs and games that have been uninstalled from my PC, does anyone have a BAT file to remove these entries, or know of another way to clean up the Start Menu?
I am running Windows 10 pro 64 bit fully up to date.
Thanks in advance for any help!

    Remove them manually

    C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

    and/or

    C:\Users\(useraccountname)\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs

Add or Remove Items for All Apps in Start menu in Windows 10

As these are shortcuts, you could run a program that detects invalid shortcuts.

Note: when uninstalling a program, aI strongly recommend using a 3rd party uninstaller that cleans up such things and a lot more. E.g. Geek Uninstaller, Revo Uninstaller (both have free versions).

Authors' uninstallers are not all 100% effective by any means.
