Hello, friends, I would like to know which is the most suitable system to put on a notebook with only 2gb of ram with hd and a processor with 2ghz or almost 3ghz. windows 7 or windows 10 32x64 bit? all help is always welcome.
I think Windows 10 32-bit [x86] is the most suitable, if its performance satisfies you, because it is still being supported.
I had Windows 10 working on a 2GB RAM computer [ex-WinXP]. It was a bit slow.
Some people who had the identical model could not get Windows 10 to run at all on theirs.
So I suggest you try 32-bit Windows 10 to see if you even have that as a viable choice.

Tiny11 is an unofficial custom ISO image of Windows 11, Tiny11 makes it an ideal solution for those who want to run the operating system on less powerful unsupported hardware, and you only need 2GB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
If you want to install Windows 11 (at your own risk) using the Tiny11 image, you will first need to download the ISO file (no sysreq) from the Archive.org website that requires free registration and then you would need to use Rufus to create a USB bootable flash drive. https://archive.org/details/tiny-11_202302
It is strongly suggested to only run 32 bit Windows on a computer with anything less then 4GB of RAM, like this 2GB RAM computer.
Windows 11 does not have a 32 bit version. Tiny 11 does not mention the minimum RAM requirements. but I assume it will need at least 4GB of RAM.
If you could upgrade to 4GB of RAM or more you would have more options.
Or install Linux.

I installed windows 10 x64bits on the notebook, but it did not perform adequately, it works slowly, and I thought about installing windows 10 x86, because as far as I know, the performance of the versions is the same, and x64 allows me Upgrading the ram soon, but as I said, the performance was not as I expected. I'm also thinking of getting an ssd soon to improve performance.
As suggested above, IMHO, 32 bit is the way to go with the hardware mentioned. An SSD will definitely help speed things up. It will also help extend the time you can run on battery.
That's right, the x86 system only allows the use of almost 4GB of ram and an upgrade of ram to 4GB or more already improved the situation, however, I followed some recommendations from the microsoft website itself, but the performance was not cool with windows 10 x64, and windows 7 is already deprecated.
That will have a better chance of operating well than the x64 you tried before.
That will allow you to consider re-trying x64.
That will also help it perform better.
But it has been so long since computers were sold with only 2GB RAM that I would hazard the guess that it is over fifteen years old.
Do consider whether it is worth spending any money on this computer at all. It might last ages or it might have a fatal defect tomorrow.
I only upgraded my ex-WinXP [from 2005] because I was able to get a free Windows 10 licence at that time. It lasted until Windows 10 Version 1709 but was unable to update any further so I just use it for non-internet odd jobs now & then.

It's already been mentioned in passing, but that notebook is ready made for Linux Mint!
I have a small Notebook with 2 gig memory and a 500 gig HD that runs Windows 7 Pro very very slowly, and I have been meaning to remove W7 and replacing it with Linux Mint. I know from experience with another Notebook that it will run Linux Mint at an acceptable speed. And it is very simple to get Linux Mint to almost mimic Windows 10 in every way.
And it is worth mentioning that Mint is a very good OS!
And for the record, I am NOT a Linux fanboy - But horses for Courses as they say!
