    Win 10 64 22H2 Memory Problem

Windows is allocating 13 GB of my 16GB of ram to "Hardware Reserved" and I can't seem to get any of it into free memory.
    See TaskMgr Memory.png.
Resource Monitor Bad Win 10 64.png shows the issue. I expect Resource Monitor to look more like the Resource Monitor Good Win 10 64.png attachment.
BIOS recognizes all 16GB, and it appears Win 10 does as well, but how can I get the Hardware Reserved allocation down to a more reasonable level, and move the bulk of the Haardware Reserved memory to free memory? System is running Blue Iris, and that looks like it is taking about 1GB of unreserved ram.

In the Search box, type in ---msconfig ---then in System Configuration select the ---Boot ---tab.
Click on Advanced Options and uncheck the Maximum Memory option.
    click O.K.
In the General page, click on Apply and the O.K. button.
Restart the pc and see if that fixes the problem.

Thank you. The Maximum Memory option was already unchecked.

It sounds like you don't have a GPU (Video Card) with it's own Dedicated Video RAM, so the system is allocating resources to the onboard video.
Boot into Setup (Bios) and look for Integrated Video or somesuch, here you can limit the amount of Memory dedicated to Video.
We strongly suggest installing a GPU with it's own Dedicated Video RAM which would not use system resources.

Blue Iris is memory hungry and the integrated graphics is unsuitable for that programme.
As suggested by Spunk,a dedicated Graphics card is the better option.

Motherboard only has one pcie slot, and that is occupied with a ATSC capture card, so dedicated graphics card is a no go on this unit. I may disable the Blue Iris service, and see if that addresses the issue. If it does, move the app to another machine.Win 10 64 22H2 Memory Problem-screenshot-2023-06-24-164939.png
