Are you deleting only Thumbs.db or a folder structure containing Thumbs.db?

To delete Thumbs.db file only, open CMD (command prompt) as Administrator and navigate to directory containing the file then run:

Just in case you don't know how to navigate to folder, an alternative is to specify full path to file:

DEL C:\Full\Path\To\Thumbs.db

Please would you paste a screenshot of the error message you see.
I never have any problem deleting folders in File explorer and do not know what is holding you back.

Make your screenshot then
- Start typing a new post and look at the Editing toolbar

- Click on its Picture icon [near the middle of the Editing toolbar]

- In the Insert image dialog that appears, click on the From computer tab if it's not already selected

- Click on Browse then browse to the file, select the file, click on Open,

- You'll be returned to the Insert image dialog, click on Upload file(s)
- The diagram should appear in your post.

Can you please paste the correct path here to your new post?
copy it from windows explorer to make sure it's precise.

You could boot into safe mode and try to delete them.
