Factory Reset Security (?) Blocks Everything

    Hi,

I think this is HP's doing, but who knows. I have performed a factory reset on a HP Envy Cang & Olufsen laptop. Running Windows 10. The thing is now nearly unusable. I can turn off security settings, I got rid of McAffee, I can disable everything I can find... it won't download or install ANYTHING.

For a brief moment, somehow, I got it to install Chrome. Don't even know how. But now I'm back to this.

    "Failed- Blocked."

"These files can't be opened... Your Internet security settings prevened one or more files from being opened."

"Couldn't download- blocked." Click KEEP. Nothing happens.

I've googled this, I've done regedits, I've turned every security setting I can find to the lowest, or off, I've updated Windows... WHAT is going on with this thing?

Didnt read thru the link im guessing, copied from the link for you, the options on how to turn off application guard. None say to do it "in edge"

Option One: Turn On or Off Microsoft Defender Application Guard for Microsoft Edge in Windows Features
Option Two: Turn On or Off Microsoft Defender Application Guard for Microsoft Edge in Windows Security
Option Three: Turn On or Off Microsoft Defender Application Guard for Microsoft Edge in PowerShell
Option Four: Turn On or Off Microsoft Defender Application Guard for Microsoft Edge in Command Prompt
