    MY PC Won't stay alseep.

    Good morning, everyone.

    Strange question.

I live in an apartment complex. My PC never stays asleep. I spoke to the maintenance people and they did have to replace some parts in the main breaker for my complex. I recently replaced the power strip, and when I put the PC to sleep, I even shut off the mouse, none of that works.

I wanted the group's opinion on this before I start shopping for a new power supply.

My PC is about 6 years old, I have a Corsair RMX750x power supply installed.

    Thanks!

    Thanks

@mp, I had a similar problem. Turns out that the keyboard and mouse were so sensitive that some movement near the desk would create enough vibrations to wake up the system.

    The Butler (Keyboard) did it

    Good morning.

I was so fixated on the mouse waking the system up, it never occurred to me that the keyboard could do it without me touching it. When I ran the command in the prompt, four out of five times, the keyboard woke the system up so I had that disabled. Thanks again for all your help!
