That searchbar....... GRRRR!!!

    How to Disable New 'Bing Search Bar' on Windows 10 Desktop

    - more results if you search.

    If the normal method of disabling it doesn't work for you, recheck that the setting (disabled) still applies.

    However, having looked at Edge, the above link doesn't seem to match, so here's what I see:

    Note Auto-launch ... is NOT selected.

    I'm sorry about that RTC. The one and only time it appeared, the method I described worked perfectly for me.

    Hopefully what @dalchina has suggested, will do the trick for you.

    If you don't see the Bing Search Bar and want to launch it go to Settings > More tools > Launch search bar

    The Bing Search Bar should only launch one time but if it keeps launching by itself check to make sure Auto-launch search bar is not selected.

    Why? The Bing Search Bar was only an annoyance until I turned if off. I haven't seen it at all since then.
