EaseUS article claims free upgrade from Home to Pro methods

Two Free Methods to Upgrade Windows 10 from Home to Pro Edition – EaseUS

The amount of total nonsense in this article is staggering. First, let me tell you the simple way to upgrade Windows 10/11 Home to Pro:
    1. Disconnect the computer from the internet - turn off WiFi or pull the ethernet cable.
    2. Go to the activation screen in settings. Click on change product key.
    3. Change the product key to the generic for Windows 10 Pro: VK7JG-NPHTM-C97JM-9MPGT-3V66T
    4. Restart the computer when requested.

That's all there is to it. You have accomplished the same result as all the methods shown in the article.

BUT, If your computer did not already have a digital license for Windows 10/11 Pro, you now have an unactivated Windows 10 which violates the End User License Agreement to use. In order to comply with the EULA, you will have to purchase (or transfer) a license for Windows 10/11 Pro.

Also, the article states, "Now you can use Windows 10 Pro on your PC. And you may need to activate the system after 30 days free trial by then. " That is completely, 100% false! There is no 30 day free trial period of Windows 10 or 11. Period.

I have used older Windows 8.1 Pro keys to follow through with the upgrade to Pro. Once you enter the generic key and reboot, you would then need to "change Key" and enter the older Windows 7, 8, 8.1 Pro key to activate Windows 10 Pro, to my recollection.
