Windows Search Icon Doubled In Size Since May Windows Updates

I notice the search icon on my taskbar has doubled in size and is thicker since installing May Windows patch Tuesday updates.

Anyone else noticed this ?

I see that if enable "show search box" is enabled the regular size magnifier is displayed but then theres the white box next to it to type the search.

I realise all this is trivial but the change made with the windows update was unexpected.

It makes me wonder if Microsoft did the change to the search icon so that it would be more closer to the size and look of other icons on the taskbar. Also its clearer for people to see with sight problems. *** Although I personally do not like it.***
