Windows won't update to new DTS for my time zone

Edit on 11-5-2023: Click here to go to solution

    Hello
I'm currently in Egypt, and for a long time they didn't activate the Daylight Saving Time (DST) and the time zone was fixed at GMT+2.
From days ago, on 28 April, they activated the DST and time zone now is GMT+3. But Windows won't update it and thinks that it's still the same!

    Below check box doesn't exist:

I used that Reg file Turn On or Off Adjust for Daylight Saving Time in Windows 10 because I thought may will solve anything, but it didn't.
    I have Windows 10 Education Build 19043

It was originally on and I turned it off to show you that the DST option is greyed.
When I turn it on, the Time Zone downlist go grey. And still thinks that Cairo is UTC+2 while it's now +3

Under Internet Time, change that from time.nist.gov to something else like ntp1.inrim.it.

Here's a whole bunch of Internet Network Time Protocol addresses.

pool.ntp.org: NTP Servers in Africa, africa.pool.ntp.org

List of Top Public Time Servers . GitHub

You can actually use a program and a USB GPS to sync time... Once such program is called bkt Time Sync. But the GPS has to have a good signal. It's mostly used with amateur radio...

My uncle is from Egypt. Up north in Alexandria.

Windows Update KB5025221 (April 2023), or later is required to support Egypt's 2023 calendar changes to Daylight Savings Time. Check to see if you have the latest Windows update installed.

Thank you, I did try many addresses, but either shows the sync process is successful (while it didn't change the time), or shows "an error occurred while windows was synchronizing" message.

It's my pleasure, I'm in East (Sharqiyya Governorate).

Time servers don't know your time zone, nor do they need to.
They just give your computer the coordinated universal time (CUT) ... which is basically GMT.
It's up to Windows to adjust that to your time zone.

If Egypt only just "re-invented" daylight saving time then I'm betting that Windows doesn't yet know it.
You might need a Windows update to correct that.

Chile and Egypt are two countries that recently changed their Daylight Savings Time. When governments introduce these new laws, MS will comply by fixing the DST database in a Windows monthly update a few months before the actual change takes place. If you keep current with monthly updates, there's nothing you need to do.

Windows releases which are past the end-of-life, don't get the benefit of any Time Zone or DST updates.
