thanks i do not want to install win11 on a noncompliant machine because i do not want to take the security risks. that is why i asked the question. i was just wondering if i had a pc that had win11 on it already and that pc was not win11 compliant if the app would still tell me that pc was still not compliant? thanks
Most of the extra security features in Windows 11 are also available in Windows 10. The difference is that they are all enabled by default in 11, and disabled by default in 10. If a Windows 10 PC doesn't support the virtualisation security features then you wouldn't be able to enable them in 10 either.

Running 11 on such a device is no less secure than running 10. W11 on an unsupported device will still get all the security updates in the cumulative updates. But for maximum protection it is sensible to only purchase a device that meets the requirements for W11, whether you want to run 11 or 10 on it.

thanks i figure win10 and win 11 would have all the security but a non approved win11 machine could still be venerable. i will get one that is win11 approved even if i do not run win11 until i have to and by then maybe they will leave the desktop alone or let you go back to the win10 desktop. it kind of looks like i may go with a micro pc that is win11 ready and just get a monitor and keypad and mouse and be done with it. so is there a list of good micro or mini pcs that will fit this will requirements? maybe a website that show them. i do see some on ebay but i do not know what is a win11 unit. thanks

thanks i kind of figured but i was asking if i got one that the seller said had win11 on it, and was not really win11 ready if the app would still say that pc was not win11 ready even if it did have win 11 on it.

so because it seems to be a i do not know topic i will get a mini pc that has win11 on it, i just have to find a website that talks of what mini pcs out now are win11 pcs? thanks

All i can think of is check the model by finding a reputable online shop or high street retailer that sells the same model with Windows 11 on it. Find one for sale and compare specs,
