    Screen dimming

    Hello,
    I'm using Windows 10 21H2, desktop PC, connected to Samsung QN900A 8K
Everything is working fine, excepting one small issue. Is not bad but I'd like to find out a way how to fix it, if possible.
I disabled everything inside the TV settings, like Power and Energy Saving, Contrast Enhancer, and so on
There is definately not a hardware issue / setting
It must be something from Windows 10.
I'll try to explain exactly : If I leave the PC, for a few minutes, I let the browser open, or some other software, when I come back, the screen it's a bit darker.
I press the left or right mouse button, it's getting brighter, as it was few minutes before.
If I just move the mouse cursor on the desktop, without clicking the buttons, the screen remains darker.
Could anyone help me, please ?
Inside the Control Panel - Power Options, I have as NEVER, both, Turn off the display and Put the computer to sleep
    Thank you in advance

Hello @Sphynxx and welcome to Ten Forums.

You probably have "Night Light" enabled.

This is from the Samsung QN900A user manual...

The only Windows 10 self adjusting brightness setting that I know of, is Night Light.

    Eco Sensor TV is disabled
Weird thing is, only if I leave the PC untouched, happens this issue
    4-5 minutes
The Eco Sensor, even if i have it Enabled, would not make the screen brighter, after I leave the PC untouched a few minutes

I'm guessing you don't have a discreet vid card? I don't see one listed in your specs.
The only other thing I can think of is in Advanced Power Settings, there's a PCI Express > Link State Power Management setting, but you'd need a discreet vid card for that to have any effect.

Discreet as in not in the CPU, which would be integrated.
The RTX 4090 would be a discreet vid card.

I don't know then. I can't think of anything else that might affect the brightness.

I used to get this and the setting was easily corrected.
You can add the setting to your power options and can then disable it from there.
