    Timmy, I've gotten the same exact emails in the past. They are some sort of scammers, with some sort of valid link to Linked In.
    Don't follow it, don't open the link.
    Enable 2-step verification if you want: This means that if someone DOES log into your account, that means they did from a different IP address. 2-step verification notices that a login happened from a different computer. Microsoft will put a halt on that login & Microsoft will send you a text message to your phone number asking if you tried to log in. You would obviously say no, and it will block that login from that different computer. So it's a very smart and 100% safe method to activate, to stop ANYONE who gets access to your password.
