    What is this mystery symbol?

I keep seeing this symbol drop down from the top of YouTube videos and other streaming videos online. It turns blue if I click on it but I have no idea what is or what it does. Can someone please inform me as to what this is? Thanks!

Sorry to bother this forum with that question. I figured it out. It is related to the Opera browser and one of it's features called "Lucid Mode" which is a feature that is supposed to enhance the resolution and other characteristics of a video and some pictures. I found out how to turn it off. It was so annoying.

This is the enhanced quality option for videos and images displayed/viewed in the web browser

Personally, I can't tell any difference in most of my streaming services .. but I leave it on, it makes me feel like I know what I'm doing in the settings.

it uses a sharpening filter by using CSS styling on the video element.

its probably set to subtle to notice and also because its new like first browser to do it etc and it will heavily be dependent on the content that you are watching like some videos it will be more noticeable over others.

if you ever set Sharpening in games then you will know that it is for clarity it causes the whole image on the screen to pop and look more defined. Which can be more intense or less intense depending on how its set it and what type of sharpening is being used, FXAA filter is a strong one but other ones are not as strong and some you can barley even tell they are doing anything.
