    Hi.
I'm sorry that method didn't work. You're thinking about reinstalling the whole thing. It's gonna be a hassle, with reinstalling everything, and getting all the stuff back up. I honestly don't know what else we can do.. really sorry you're going through this. If you want, you can look at all the suggestions in videos on YouTube regarding frozen Shut Down / Restart attempts. There's many different ideas with videos you can try out. Who knows, you might get lucky and hit the pot of gold. It's up to you.
There's nothing else I know / or could suggest; I'm at a loss of ideas. =/

Yup, I might have to re-install. Or re-image. A clean install would be best though. I wish Event Viewer is more useful.

Appreciate your efforts. Thank you very much.

    Yes, you're welcome.
I apologize I wasn't able to find the exact solution. I thought we may have caught it with some of the few things that I've suggested. I guess not =\

The best of luck to your new system installation. May it stay bug-free for the longest time ever.

No need to apologize. Re-installation will be a last resort and just one of options if and when it becomes impossible to work with the current issues. Thank you much.

I'm hoping that someone that has had the same issue will see this post and provide a solution.

I'm just circling back to update this post. I gave up and re-installed Windows using a 2-year-old image of the disk that just had Windows with a few programs installed. It seems to be working now. My main takeaway here: fix an issue as soon as it shows up.
