    This PC/My Computer !con problem?

Some time ago I changed the Icon for the "This PC" (also known as "My Computer") App. But today for no reason and months after I changed it, the Icon vanished leaving a blank white "This PC Icon in it's place, this blank Icon still connects to the various drives.
I have right clicked on this blank Icon but there is no way to replace/change the missing Icon in properties?
I do not remember how I replaced it last time? I am running the latest update of Windows 10 Pro (build 19045.2846 22H2) updated 2 days ago, so I do not think the option to change the Icon has been removed from this file?

Any ideas welcome? ps: I also lost the Icon for my Opera Browser in the same way about a week ago?

You can use a 3rd party app like Open-Shell to change the Start Button and Start Menu Open-Shell download | SourceForge.net
Or you can rebuild the Icon Cache Rebuild Icon Cache in Windows 10

Will that change all my other icons back to default? Because I probably have more than 200 changed icons.

A bit of a fiddle, but managed to sort the problem out without the need for a Rebuild of the Icon Cache. But I still have no idea why this happened in the first place?
Thank you both for your help!

No... it will just rebuild the dusty box that the icons are all stored in.
