    Mouse cursor keeps loading intermittently

Iv noticed that no matter what im doing the mouse cursor keeps loading intermittently (about every 7 seconds) as if its processing something whether my pc is sitting idle or browsing or if im watching a movie.

Iv done a number of things before noticing this issue including updating to windows 11 22h2, updating my bios, installing comodo firewall before uninstalling comodo firewall due to it causing a problem with asus armoury crate where it would just get stuck in a reinstall/reboot loop forcing me to do a system restore as uninstalling it didnt fix the problem. Im fairly sure that this problem was there until after i did a system restore which was successful.

How do I figure out whats causing this and stop it?

What do you mean by, "the mouse cursor keeps loading"?
    Disappearing then reappearing?
What type of mouse - USB-connected, bluetooth, touchpad?
Does the problem continue if you use another mouse?
Please could you describe exactly what you see so that we can understand as much as we could by watching over your shoulder.

You could post a link to a short video of your display by clicking on the movie icon in the post editing toolbar. But do include some words of explanation to make sure people notice what you want them to notice.

    Best of luck,

You know when you open a program and a circle spins on the top right corner of the mouse cursor. Well instead of doing this when i actually open things its does this for me every 7 seconds.

I have tried with other mice and with no mouse.

    OK.
It sounds like the problem is Windows and the mouse is not involved.

1 Does Task manager show anything of interest when the spinner appears?

    2 Does SFC help? SFC-DISM - TenForumsTutorials
Use Option 3 including, if there are irreparable errors, going online to run the DISM command explained at the end of Option 3.

4 You mentioned uninstalling Comodo firewall & Asus Armoury crate
    - Check the Comodo website to see if they have a specialist uninstall utility / instructions in the way that many anti-malware utilities do.
    - Reinstall Asus Armoury crate in case it got corrupted when it fought Comodo.

5 I assume you do not have a system image from before the problem started or you'd have said so.

    Best of luck,

I checked task manager and nothing stood out as out of place.

I tried the comodo removal tool but this didnt do anything after clicking accept it just vanished and exited itself but the system restore would have wiped comodo anyway as that was made right before i installed it.

I tried sfc and there appears to be no integrity violations or corruption so nothing to repair.

I made a restore point before installing comodo firewall and after realising assus armoury crate wasnt functioning correctly i tried to fix the problems by allowing its components through the firewall and some other things though i quickly got bored and did a system restore which initially had problems due to an error with kaspersky free. I then uninstalled kaspersky free and did a system restore of the same image and this completed successfully however a couple of things did return some errors, the myasus app returned an error that it wasnt installed correctly but after running it again immediately after it worked fine as did an android app i run in the android subsystem for windows and again after running it immediately after getting that error it worked as intended and neither errors ever showed up again after multiple reboots. Nothing else iv tried so far appears to have any issue as i described above including asus armoury crate but theres obviously something going on.

System restore is not reliable & is not comprehensive.
If you are going to experiment in future then I urge you to make & restore system images instead. Many people use Macrium reflect for this. AOMEI Backupper Standard Edition (Free)s is also quite popular and is apparently very easy to use.

I hope you've also run the Kaspersky removal tool.

When the spinning circle happens, check out those three sections of the Event Viewer, at that exact moment:
