Glad you were able to find that option to fix the issue. I honestly can't understand how things that sound like they have nothing to do with anything are the way to fix things now-a-days, right? hahaha.

Well I'm glad that your test-and-trial method helped you find that solution! Glad it all works now. And yes, if anything changes within the next few days, please post back here. Let's HOPE you don't need to post back about this though =)

I think your discovery moves us all forward - Settings, Accounts, Sign-in, Use my sign-in info affects TS task, login triggers.

I never had that Use my sign-in info set so my two login-triggered tasks were running as expected. So I expect your task will also behave itself now.

    Well done,
    Denis

    Oh, and welcome to TenForums.

It's really worth making time to browse through the Tutorial index - there's a shortcut to it at the top of every page.
    - At the foot of the Tutorial index is a shortcut to download it as a spreadsheet.
    - I download a new copy each month.
    - By downloading it as a spreadsheet I can benefit from Excel's excellent filtering capabilities when I search for topics of interest.
    - Tutorials are also listed by category at Tutorials - there's also a shortcut to that at the top of every page.
    - Both tutorial lists are searchable.
    - You can also search for TenForumsTutorials in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com/tutorials after your search term. For example,
    taskbar toolbars site:tenforums.com/tutorials

You can search TenForums using the search box in the top-right corner of all TenForums webpages or using Advanced Search - TenForums
    - You can also search TenForums threads in many general search engines, such as Google, by adding site:tenforums.com after your search term. For example,
Search for drivers by HardwareID site:tenforums.com
    - [This is what the search box in the top-right corner of TenForums webpages does automatically]

    Hi all,
I can confirm, after about 10 days, that it's sorted.
It was the issue (really weird, I found this fix for a pure coincindence...)
have a nice day to everyone guys!

I've informed Brink so the relevant tutorial can be amended.

A user has demonstrated that a side-effect of this setting being on

is that Task scheduler tasks triggered by logon start before the logon screen is reached.
See Task Scheduler: "at logon" task starts already at boot [posts #10+] - TenForums

I suggest that an informative comment is added to the tutorial's intro.

    All the best,
    Denis

And a warning has been added to the tutorial so that others can benefit from your discovery.
That's how this forum progresses & why it's better than others.

    All the best,

This is also a problem in windows 11, latest build. It was driving me crazy. How can MS mess up such an important function. Task at login running before login.............
Thanks to the OP for finding the fix.

It looks like this in win 11:
