Monitor set to switch off> 2mins of inactivity doesnt always work, why?

I wondered why my monitor doesn't always switch itself off after 2 minutes of inactivity, because that is the power setting that I have for my monitor - if I'm not using my PC, then after 2 mins, turn it off.
But about twice a day (approx), when I return to my PC, the monitor is still on.
Any ideas please, thanks a lot!

    (OS = Windows 10, Version 22H2.)

Because something is accessing at least one or more of key components in your computer GPU, Monitor, HDD or a driver is active on SYSTEM.

Example with YouTube video playing and the computer will not go into sleep because its actively doing something.

With the YouTube video paused the computer can now sleep if it wants.

    powercfg /requests

    powercfg /requestsoverride

you can specify to override an application from stopping sleep and the request category.
powercfg /requestsoverride process wmplayer.exe display system

application being what ever is stopping sleep and request category being the categories that are actively doing things.
