Once Onedrive has its sticky hands on your data you have to be very very careful in proceeding to uninstall Onedrive.

The basic idea would be to
    a. Ensure you have a secure backup of all your data
    b. Stop OneDrive synching data (tutorial).
    c. Disable Onedrive (tutorial)
    d. Check your data is secure
    e. Uninstall Onedrive.

Remember- all data Onedrive has synched is still in your Onedrive accout on line as a versioned backup, so you can still access that if you need to.

See the tutorials section for a LOT of tutorials on Onedrive.

Thank you very much for your reply.

    Given you said:
was trying to remove one drive from exlore
I will assume Onedrive is no longer functional on your PC.

So, as I said, if you need data that is not on your PC, but was synched by Onedrive, log in to your Onedrive account online.... using a browser.

E.g. in the UK I would go to
    Sign in - Microsoft OneDrive

I can't help you with this problem ... but once you get it fixed, remove One Drive.

It's a horrible piece of software. Problems problems problems and more problems.
It's been removed from all of our computers.
