File documents, Emails, web pages etc all in one place
Running Win 10 v 22H2 on Toshiba Tecra laptop
I'd like to be able to file documents, Emails, web pages etc for a given project all in one folder.
Windows shortcuts work well for documents and photos, but I can't find 'shortcut' equivalents for emails or web pages.
For example. Suppose I'm buying a house. I'd like to place in my 'House' folder my local notes and financial spreadsheets, links to the agent's web page with its house details, house location map, floor plan and photos plus links to solicitors and mortgage company Emails along with their attached documents and links to their webpages, etc .
I can print Email texts and their attachments as PDFs, then move the PDFs into a folder, or make screen prints of web pages and place these likewise, but this seems very cumbersome and doesn't link back to the original source.
It would be great to be able to drag a nameable link (like a shortcut) to a mail attachment into the house purchase folder, which then opens the full item when clicked.
Has anyone got a solution?
Many thanks - Greg
