Cannot get into safe mode via advanced startup

As the title says, I cannot go into safe mode via the Advanced Startup but I can get into safe mode from the "System Configuration"

When I restart to Advanced Startup and then Troubleshoot >> Advanced Options >> Startup Settings >> Restart
I Just go back into Windows and do not get the options for safe mode etc.

From the "Advanced Options" I can Go Into UEFI or get into a command prompt.

I am ok with this for the most part. However I am getting a new OS drive soon and will be cloning this one to it and if there are issues with my Recovery Environment I want to address them now or plan for it.

Are there some Windows RE repair suggestions ?

If there are RE issues I wonder if this is an option : , I read here the idea to do a clean Win10 install onto my new drive and then copy/overwrite just the C partition of my original drive over the new installation ?

Windows 10 Pro 10.0.19045 Build 19045 all updates current.

If you like, you could also use the method in the tutorial below to add Safe Mode to the boot menu for now to have available if needed. You can easily remove it later once sorted out via Advanced Startup.

I think i will try the repair and if that does not work i will do a repair install.

So i am getting ready to do a in place repair, have my iso ready etc. However I was just wondering how this differs from the "reset this PC" option in the Windows 10 Recovery Settings ?

Just finished. I got back my advanced startup options and hopefully a couple other little quarks. Just insane how many services i absolutley do not need are restarted and crap i will never use reinstalled. but that is part of the deal i suppose. thanks for the support

It could be way worse, it looks like all the privacy settings and other plethora of settings in settings are as i left them
