PC sometimes wont fully go to sleep, it half sleeps losing state.
So firstly this isnt all the time, if I was to guess %, maybe 10% of time.
When it works normally, first monitor will go off, then one second later PC powers down fans, drives etc. Power light blinks.
When it doesnt work, monitor goes off, however fans keep spinning, drives stay spun up, power light stays on.
When in the broken state, there is no way to recover, the monitor has no signal, remote desktop doesnt work. I can only get back in by forcing a power off holding down the power button and booting back up normally which obviously loses my desktop state.
If I have to save my work because I am not sure if sleep will work, I may as well be shutting down the computer normally.
Also I have had one occasion, where even a normal shutdown didnt turn off PC, so this might not be sleep mode specific.
Problems started after February windows updates, prior to then not a single failed shutdown/sleep/hibernate.

I have now after doing this post enabled WOL, to see if that is a means to recover the PC when this happens.

So an update this was after Jan update not Feb, just I updated in Feb due to delay set for updates.
The feb update has a patch for a known issue that can randomly prevent signing out, sleep etc. so hopefully thats the cause.
