Upload to Photos dates all pictures current

I made the mistake of uploading all the photos from my iPhone to MyCloud and they all show the current date instead of sorting to when they were actually taken. Many of these are duplicates of photos that I already had on the Photos program. Is there a way to back these off so I have some relevance of the day the pictures were taken and to get rid of the duplicates in one fell swoop ?

Delete and then upload from icloud.com. The dates will always reflect the date they were placed on the device not the date taken.

Hello, the "date taken" detail should remain the same.
