If the password you are using is correct and it is not accepted, there could be corruption on your disk which may have led to all these issues.

That is why I'm asking you to check your disk as the first step.

Did you always log in with a password, or were you using a PIN or other method?

No, I did not use a password to start Windows. I did not enter a password so that I could skip that process when booting up my laptop.

I am really appreciating all of your help but I have to run some errands so I will be gone for a while. I will check my emails as soon as I get back. Thanks again.

Passwordless login has had some weird side effects (see comments following this tutorial):
Enable or Disable Passwordless Sign-in for Microsoft Accounts

I don't know whether that is affecting your ability to use a password now, assuming it's correct.

If you were able to edit the registry offline you could reverse that setting given the tutorial above.

It is asking specifically for the password of my main email account.
why would it ask for your email password ?

onedrive presents my email address and asks for a password. I enter my onedrive password. Not my email password.

If you are using an ms account maybe it is asking for that password.

I cannot access my laptop in any way at this point. I cannot open a command prompt. I cannot enter safe mode. I cannot access a Restore Point nor access the registry... nada. I tried last night to make a USB Windows Repair drive and that did not even work. I do not know what I can do since I cannot get into the C: drive whatsoever.

Can you create bootable Windows 10 USB flash drive using Windows 10 Media Creation Tool?

extract the 1904v3.iso to create bootable usb using this Usb7ice.zip

boot it up and you will get a desktop with explorer, diskmgmt, regedit etc, etc.

and there will be shortcuts to the programs on the usb stick

under the start menu install folder run winntsetup. rt click in the top pane and select "local windows installations"

Wow! That got me the desktop like you said it would. But now instead of just a C: and D: drive I have other new partitions showing up as well. I tried pulling up the run window and typing in winntsetup as you said to do but I get an error message stating that Windows cannot find winntsetup. What am I doing wrong? Am I looking in the wrong place? I don't see the start menu install folder you mentioned.

if the link hasnt been created there, you can find it in Y:\Uprograms\winntsetup

( i am using virtual dvd for this - your usb stick should have letter Y assigned. )
