    Hi Timmy.
    • Yes, if you stop your phone from synchronizing with the cloud, all your files will still stay on your phone; they won't get deleted.
    • If you delete them from the cloud, it will not affect what is saved on your phone; your phone will still have the files.
(you can do a test to make sure that's what happens. Open your camera, and take a picture of something random. Let it sync with the cloud, then go to your cloud and delete this new picture from there. Then look at your phone's photos, and check to see that the new picture you just took is still saved on your phone).

You will not be able to use “find my iphone” to find your phone.
You will lose access to files stored in the cloud. Photos, notes, iCloud Drive, icloud email, etc.
Your phone will no longer backup to the cloud.
No more Facetime. No more Messages via wifi (cellular sms still works)

Please keep the cloud on. I like the rain. So do the plants. FlowerPower™
