    How to Customize Default Search Views on Windows 10


    I would like search result to show as detail

    how can I do this?

    windows version = 22H2

    I tried some tutorial How to Customize Default Search Views on Windows 10,

    but there is no such key (mention in tutorial) created in version 22H2

    I suggest you use this utility. It includes setting up search results views as well as 'normal' folder views.
    WinSetView (main thread) - TenForums
    and you could also, if you wanted, monitor the Registry changes it makes so that you could repeat it later on without using that utility. I think Les' opinion [below] is more reliable than mine.

    That approach will be hit and miss. It will work for folders where you haven't yet done a search, but will not change the view for folders where a search has been done previously. The reason is that the BagMRU/Bags keys need to be cleared (and Explorer restarted) to get the new default views to take effect. Of course, for setting up new user accounts, all you need are the registry entries, and the utility includes scripts for capturing the relevant keys in that case (for those who need to automate such things).

    For most users, it's not worth thinking about new accounts versus existing accounts. Use the utility in all cases and it will just work. It's portable, so all the settings are in the INI file. That makes setting the default views for a new account (or resetting for an existing account) a one click job.
