    "No such interface supported"

When I click a picture, in Picture folder, the pic is not shown with an error announcement: No interface supported. This is in both users. The only measure I found to correct this is to reset W11, which I'd rather not do. I am hoping it can be corrected with some tweakinngs. "No such interface supported"-screenshot-2023-01-31-011708.png

Oh, I accidentally solved it. I went to settings > apps> default apps> and I defaulted to windows photo something apps. Thing is, this prob just happened from nowhere. I did not have such prob a few hours ago.

I get the exact same error, only for .wav files:

Tried reinstalling windows media player, but it did nothing. What is weird is it launches the .wav with media player but doesn't play it. And if I drag the file into the player it plays fine. Weird bug.

    Any suggestions?

Start with START, then SETTINGS, then APPS. Open DEFAULT APPS. Try any listed apps to activate your media player .Select JUST ONCE and keep trying until you get the correct app, Then click ALWAYS.

Didn't work. I'm starting to think I'm missing a dependency, but what could it be?

Try INSTALLED APPS. Click Media Player. Tap the triple dots and open Advanced Option. Click ALWAY.S on permission to play in background. Still not working? It might be corrupt. Try to reinstall from Microsoft Store.
