    Windows 10 error message

    Windows 10 version 22h2 [os build 19045.2546]

I have attached a screenshot of the problem I am currently experiencing with windows 10 which I find extremely annoying. What is the issue here NOW?

    Welcome to tenforums.

When does this occur? So little information to go on. E.g.
    - at random
    - when you log on
    - at regular times
    - when you run a particular program
    - other (what?)

History: (so rarely given by posters).
    When did this start happening?
    What happened before that?

If recently, do you have a System Restore point you could use?

Here is your error message which I have srceen OCRd for you for search purposes.
    System not supported
Sorry for the inconvenience. This application does not currently support this system. Please check again later.

This is the only result I've found so far:

Is the message shown when you try to run an application? With one? Where did you get it?

This format is really inelegant and tedious here.

    - at random My computer is idle nothing running just turn off the monitor go back in the AM and see that annoying popup
    - when you log on see above
    - at regular times seems to happen when it is idle I believe
    - when you run a particular program nothing running in the background that would cause this nuisance
    - other (what?)

History: (so rarely given by posters).
When did this start happening? perhaps about a month ong-going?
What happened before that? this stupid problem did not happen b4

If recently, do you have a System Restore point you could use? don't see why esp because it has not caused a catastrophe

If this just happened recently, then doing a System Restore to a time before this happened, eliminating the app that can't start. System Restore is designed for this scenario. It just sets your Windows OS back to the date you choose before this happened. You don't need to wait for disaster to strike to use System Restore.
You can also do Clean Boot. This will eliminate any apps starting with Windows running in the background. If that works, then you can keep it this way, or you can add one Start Up or Service item at a time until the message returns and then you will know the culprtin.

    Thank you for responding.

because quite obviously if you had, and this had started recently. that would give you a simple way forward and save respondents a lot of time it solved the problem

Given your rather abrupt style of response to my politely phrased and unfortunately necessay questions, I'm out. Unsubscribed. Good luck.

I think the OP was referring to the editing of replying to the quote.
(Pegasus, I can tell that it took you some time to set up your response, with the bold font replies, etc)

When the OP said the word "stupid", they seem frustrated at the issue, not the questions...

    Pegasus:
    Ctrl+Alt+Delete --> Task Manager --> Startup tab
Right Click -> Disable all the stuff you don't want

(also, Pegasus, I understand where you're coming from. I know you're not intending to sound rude. I've had my fair share back in the day when I sign up for something new, and reply to things. Some people didn't like the way I replied to things. I never intended to be rude in any way.)

[I read Pegasus' reply... twice. After reading it the second time, I definitely noticed that Pegasus was not trying to be rude in any way.]
