What do you mean, pull the hard drives. Throw the PC away?

    Hello, esebm.

I'm sure what @bro67 was referring to, was opening the PC and removing the hard drive.

Personally, I have and would do the same (again), when ridding myself of an old machine. Then you have absolutely nothing to worry about, as far as any personal information.

Simply use your discretion, what to do with the old drive. Use it yourself as a backup, or destroy it.

I wish you luck, whatever you ultimately do.

    You could:

    - clean install Win 10 completely (tutorial available)

    or
    - reset Windows (remove everything option)
    Reset Windows 10

    - and then also wipe free space to be sure.

Why quote my post to say that? I've unsubscribed as I don't want to waste my time. Thanks.
