    Hide minimized window in/from taskbar?

Is there any way to have a Specific Program's Window always be hidden when its minimized? As in never have it show up in the task bar?

example: you opened the specific program, you minimized it, and instead of seeing it minimized next to the other open windows, its hidden.

id like it to be hidden automatically, no matter how many windows of said program are open at once

...once you minimize it and make it disappear, how would you plan on bringing it back up? ...or even remember that you have it hidden?
I've never heard of anything that can hide something completely.

You can try loading another Desktop
    ( windows 10 multiple desktops - Search )
Sending your program to the other Desktop, minimizing it into that Taskbar (or even keeping it un-minimized), then going back to your first, main, Desktop.

    Task Manager End Task

I apologize, lol. I'm analyzing the scenario.

So if you hide it, and then ... you want to "Task Manager End Task". So why not close it completely when you don't need the app/window anymore?
UNLESS you need it to stay open for a certain amount of time. But also, if you End Task of a program/window, it might not save the changes you did to it...

Try out the Multiple Desktops idea. See how you like it. Maybe it's possible to password protect a different Desktop. Not sure if that's something you prefer as well. We can look into that later if you're interested...

That post is from 2011 ... oof a little old. You can see if that program still works with Windows 10.

never had anyone smart apologize to me before, feels weird!

I guess I should get more specific, what im trying to hide is a Command Prompt window counting down, to close an Excel file, I tried to have the excel files using macros, that didn't work, I tried AutoHotKey, didn't work, this seemed like the only solution. And now I just want to have it hidden

    I see.

Okay try out the Multiple Desktops, and sending that Command Prompt to another Desktop. I'm assuming, technically, it should work. Of course, you can try that out.

... believe me though, I'm actually not that smart. I pretty much use the internet as a reference for everything I say/post. hah

HAH what a coincidence. I just tried ChatGPT for the first time 2 days ago. It's actually pretty smart. WOW. I was surprised at the ... "rare" subject I brought up to it, as a test, and how it responded. It was like a human being.
...but the funniest thing about that app, is that it's not that well at mathematical computations. It took about ten seconds to figure out what 2+2 was. Hahaha, reason why I tried that test is that on the news, a person said that it's really smart, yet it's not that good at math.

See if you can check it out again on a day when it's not that busy.
