Thumbnails missing in specific folders

    No. Folder options are set correctly. As stated this is not a system wide problem but ONLY related to folders containing images downloaded from my web server.

    Not one of the settings related to this solved the problem.

    The suggested steps on the above link all failed.

    Hmmm my reply to this vanished.

    Anyway I had already tried all of those tips to no avail.

    Guess I just live with it. I can use image preview to look at them if I need to.

    Thank you indeed for your clarification and repetition of this.. I am quite aware of that.

    If it's settings related to conflicting cloud sync, for example, then that depends on which folders are synced.

    Just an example.

    So perhaps you need to evaluate a difference in the way those folders are handled,
