Just been running some tests, and it works well.

One minor issue was when full screen recording, you also record the floating taskbar.

I found an option to tun it off but then I could not work how to stop recording. Went online, and help text was a bit vague until I read hot keys section. You can use hotkey f9 to stop it - you can remap it if you prefer from settings menus.

Another neat feature is it will create an ADDITIONAL mp3 file as well as mp4 with the soundtrack - great if you want to record sound of a youtube music video.

Just compare this with the excruciatingly poor effort by MS in the new snipping tool. Even the gamebox recording tool is less featured. MS should buy in the expertise rather than acting like amateurs lol.
