    (fixed) "Run as administrator" context menu on any file


    I tried to remove that menu altogether using ready .reg files but it didn't work, it broke the admin elevation function instead so I had to run "Add Run as administrator Context Menu.reg" to restore it. But not I have "Run as administrator" menu item on literally every file, not just .exe, .msi, etc. How can I restore it how it was before and not have it show up on any file? Windows version: 2H22 enterprise.
    edit: fixed it by deleting "runas" key from Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\*\shell

    Download the Reg file to remove it, restart the computer, and you can add it again if you like Add or Remove Run as administrator Context Menu in Windows 10
