Is lenovo good quality? Never had one.

Absolutly agree, will only switch to win11 after support for 10 ended, possibly even use 10 after end of support as long as functionallity remains compatibly with whatever is needed.

I think it's funny that many people have already switched to win11, the majority is still on 10.
Those win11 users at this moment of time are like lab-rats to be honest, 11 is unstable and there are knowns issues yet to be fixed, why switch from stable 10 to unstable 11? It doesn't make sense.
Some kids must be "hyped" to get the "newest" "fastest" "latest" "best" windows 11, and what they really get is a mess.
    Well deserved so.
Wait and see, windows 12 by 2030.
I'm curious to know how long you have used Windows 11 before posting this nonsense? I've only been using Windows 11 for 1 1/2 years now and 5 computers on my network are running just fine on it with no issues, so that is my qualification for calling your post nonsense. What is your qualification for judging Windows 11?

I have two systems on Win11 and my main system,s on Win10. I went with Win11 for my entertainment system for movies and streaming as it handles it seamlessly... Win10 does too but I decided on Win11. All systems are unsupported, modified Win11 ISO with Rufus 3.20 clean installs.

@Hexecutable, 100 percent in agreement of every word posted by NavyLCDR.

And yes, I'm a Windows 11 user with multiple machines as well. And my main machine is running Windows 11.

I wanted to give you Reputation for this posting, but the system would not allow it.

I'f used windows 11 for 15 minutes up to 30 minutes before wiping that malware from my disk.
My qualification for judging windows 11 is not being another disgusting microsoft fanboy who swallows their ridiculous spyware while smiling at the same time.

Here is one of the best modern ideas, that should be implemented in Windows:

A nice and simple app, designed by Microsoft, which lists every single extra feature that is included in the operating system, stating what each feature does (explained in a way which even the dumbest person alive can understand what it does), state if it is a required feature to run Windows, and the ability to easily turn it on or off.

That would be so useful. I understand that the Services app lists things pretty much in this way, but should also include all other non-service type of feature, also explained so everyone can understand what it does. I understand that there are online tutorials that say if you need certain services or not, but those aren't so accurate, and some services cannot be disabled, etc. If this app is designed by Microsoft, then if can be so easily handled, and so accurate to how it treats each feature, if you want to enable or disable it, etc.

That would be such a useful app, and everyone would find it so useful.

@pepanee This is a great idea. I have tried in the past to document Windows just for myself, but I gave up, since I have no aspirations to publish a book.

Maybe this "app" could be a wiki, where everyone could contribute.

One idea is to organize this doc or wiki using several divisions

    The Start menu
    An Explorer window
All the Settings at the main level and at the sub-level.

    Just ideas.

I'm hoping Windows will die a graceful death ... and then we'll all use Linux.
