What is the most popular windows language?

When installing windows, i'm asked to choose a language, i'll go with english.
However, there is two english versions, english and english international.
Seemingly english is for people that come from the US while english international is for the rest of the world (UK mainly).

I am anyways not asking about the differences between the two, all i want to know is which of them is more popular.
I'f been trying to find an anser to this question on statista and our world in data, sadly both sides don't have that information, or i simply didn't find it.
Someone knows which english version is the most used one? Source?

If you "live" in the US you should choose US English, if not, choose the other.

I would imagine English International as only the US & its Territories use English (US).
Here in Canada we speak & spell UK English, however our keyboards are English (US).

I neither live in the US nor any other english speaking country.
I don't need my native language as my os language, since i speak english well and it's the most popular i'll use that.

Maybe a little context... every website you visit fingerprints your browser, including the system language and the browser language.
Using my native language will make me stand out already as it is way less popular than english.

I simply want to know which version (english or english international) has the most installs, is most used, is the most popular.

Imagination doesn't provide any facts, i tought english us is the most popular so that alone shows me you have another opinion but none of us provided any facts to why we beleve what we beleve, i want facts just to be sure.
The keyboard layout doesn't have impact on the os language and vise versa.

The tor browser for example uses (en-us / english united states) by default, changing that will make you stand out ALOT already, for anonimity should only use the default settings.
But just because tor uses en-us doesn't mean it's the same with windows, but it could be, someone got facts? sources?

Well this sort of fact would only be obtainable through an organization such as the UN or maybe a deep search in Google than I have used. Google simply says "Emglish is the most widely spoken language. Last measured in 2020. Microsoft would also know.

    @Hexecutable

You're asking two different questions. The "default" language for Windows is US English. Windows is "created" in Redmond, Washington.

As to which English is used on more computers... who knows.
I honestly don't think you will be able to find that statistic.

For example... India. Which of them use US English and which use International English... who knows.

Any website you visit by default must collect certain information about your browser otherwise there wouldn't even be any functionality, if they keep that information or not is hosts choice, the vast majority collects as much information as they can, manily for targeted adversting. Just think, how many websites (including this forum) run google analytics...
Data collection such as os and browser version, system timezone and ip adress, browser language and os languages aswell as system fonts and screensize are only the basics.

The UN is just another china shill at this point, can't take anything of them seriously.

I think the problem is that there's too many countries involved to be able to get accurate statistics.
Things like population, land area, exports, GDP... those numbers are easy to get.

Something like who uses which English on their computers... I don't think enough people care to be able to gather that information.

This is the kind of stuff most people care about... Worldometer - real time world statistics

Interesting statistics, just like the UN is a china shill you just reminded me that the XI-Virus also comes from china, and yet they managed to benefit from the pandemic by selling a **** tons of covid masks, brilliant.
Ouh and ofcourse few people starved to death because of the lockdowns there, chinese state reaction: oops not again, censor censor!

Anyway getting off topic... just woonderding is the language you select upon install purely the language or does it interfear with regional settings and possibly even system setting or privacy settings? The EU has better privacy laws than the US, does it matter if you install a "us-en system" in europe, any impact?
