Question about Windows Updates and closing laptop lid
Quick question about Windows Updates.
Does closing the lid on a laptop count for the "don't turn off your computer" message? The default option is "Sleep", but usually when you close the laptop lid it just locks the screen and turns off the display, without going into "deep" sleep (where you have to boot up and read from ram, see boot logo, etc).
Does this interrupt Windows Updates?
(I suppose Windows probably has some kind of failsafe but I'm not sure if the laptop lid closing was what corrupted one of my laptop's bootloaders)
