Hi all, help please!
I am trying to do a run of mailing labels. I am using Windows 10 Home. I go through the whole process and when I go to Update Labels the tab is greyed out so I cannot do it. Can anyone help please?
You may have issues if you use Avery Labels Update Labels not working in Mail Merge
After you add a merge field, like Address Block, to the first label in a sheet of labels, be sure to select Update Labels, on the Mailings tab. When you do, everything in the top, left label will be repeated on all the labels in the sheet.

Thank you but my issue is I can't Update Labels as the Update Labels tab is greyed out - any idea how I can un-grey it?
I understand your OP question, did you look at the links provided in post #2 that specifically address your issue?
I did thanks, but it didn't solve my problem as it didn't ungrey the Update Labels tab. I got round it by going to Rules and adding in New Record and then copying and pasting to all labels on the one page and then merging document.
