WinDiff Hard to Read : Vision Impairment

A vision impairment makes the background and text almost impossible for me to read.

It is very bright and makes using the app difficult use.

Is there a way to adjust the overall brightness and increase the font sizes?

If so. where can not find the instructions. I am not seeing anything here:

If I cannot adjust WindDiff is there an app or two with the functionality a that I need?

    Thanks for any thoughts.

I took a look. I could not read any of the examples, if that was what you wanted?
i could barely make out the fonts, even getting very close to the screen in darkened room.

    Maybe try CompareIt!

Compare It! 4.0 -- file compare and merge tool helps in file comparison

    From their website:

"Compare It! is very customizable: you can adjust colors, fonts, keyboard, even file filters in Open dialog."

You have presumably tried the 'mono colours' option? And increasing screen size under Win-10 'ease of access' settings?

I’ve done this only once but see if this helps.

In Windows 10 Ease of access, you can adjust the display to make text bigger, make everything bigger, change the brightness of your built-in display along with quite a few other settings. When you first want to investigate those with the normal settings you have to deal with at the beginning even before getting into Ease of access, press CTRL+ to the size that suits you.

You can start by right clicking a blank space on the desktop and choose Display Settings, go to Scaling and increase the scaling to what's comfortable for you up to 500 %. You can also use Dark Mode Windows 10 dark mode: Enabling and disabling the dark theme - IONOS
