FWIW: Writer has one distinctive fullscreen view - SHIFT CTRL J
Just updated LibreOffice to Version 7.0.4.3 and that seems to be more clearing than the F11 key function.

Program does not open in full view

Hi, do you mean... regardless of how it was when you closed it, when you click a shortcut to open it, it won't open full screen?
Or do you mean you can NEVER get it full screen?
    .
    Hello,
    Thanks for the answers.
    (Refering to "LibreOffice 7.4.0):
Double-click on the shortcut, opens the main menu (where all the recent files list is) opens half-size. Click on the square at the upper right end opens it to full size.
Double-click on a document such as "calc" (.xlsx) or "writer" (.docs) opens in full size only after I enlarged it before closing, otherwise it opens to half size.

Back to "LibreOffice" 7.3.5" which I reinstalled it - click on the shortcut (did not touch the properties), opens the main menu to full size, same when clicking on any document, calc or writer.
So now it is 7.3.5 version.
    Thanks
    Motim

I guess this could be some type of warning about not being for everyone:

Motim, that is a bug in version 7.4.0:
LibreOffice 7.4 does not open in a maximized window - English - Ask LibreOffice
According to this post on their site, this bug has been reported for them to fix.

That link states that the alpha version 7.5 doesn't have that bug. You can try using the alpha version (just because it's alpha, doesn't mean it's "still in the process of becoming good". Most likely they included some beta features in there that won't interfere with the way you work with it. Also, there is nothing to worry about. Assuming you have problems with this version, then you can go back a previous version.)

If you want, you can also install the previous version (7.3.6):
Download LibreOffice | LibreOffice - Free Office Suite - Based on OpenOffice - Compatible with Microsoft
(scroll down a bit, and you will find the download for version 7.3.6.) I'm sure that there isn't a lot that you are missing out from with your 7.4 update. So you can work with 7.3.6, until regular 7.5 comes out.

Edit: I just noticed in your latest post that you installed 7.3.6

    • If I were you, I would install 7.5 alpha and use it.

    Hello members of this forum,
I think Berton's respond here is inappropriate. Reading this respond I feel insulted, humiliated.
According to this, I am almost sorry for having a computer running windows 10 at home.
If I am wrong, I appologize and ask forgivness. (Before Rosh-Ha'Shana).
    All the best
    Motim
And by the way, version 7.4.1 runs OK.
