Make a New Folder, and put everything in there. Then, one by one, decide on what you want to do with all that stuff.

You most likely accidentally dragged a folder to a forbidden location (or something similar to that) which causes Windows to place all the items in that folder onto the Desktop. Look at the items on the Desktop; were they all in the same folder before they ended up on the Desktop?

You don't say what you think it should look like so suggestions might be off the mark.
Do you see what you expect if you open File explorer and go to your Desktop folder?
Is the problem the fact that the things you expect to see are superimposed on one another?
Are there things on your Desktop that you did not put there?

Reinstall your display driver [not just check for an update for it, reinstall it].
    - Get it from your computer maker if the display card was in the computer when you bought it.

    Best of luck,
    Denis

You can start by Uninstalling the "Demo Version of the worlds intelligent email marketing software for small business/startups"
