Windows 10, with yahoo home page. I find my Go Back arrow isn't there as it used to be.
I may have hit update with windows 10, seems when ever I do I have a new problem.
Open for suggestions. but I seldom manage to resolve my problems. I'm just too damn dumb about PCs.
I am 88 and I don't do so well understanding the help I am sometimes offered. I'll try..

The "Go back" and "Go forward" arrow buttons on the Toolbar in a browser do dim out when there's nothing to go back to or go forward to, occurs when only one site/page is open and no others have been visited on that tab.

I want to go back to the home page. Say I'm looking up "best lawn food" from my home page, I go to a list of answers, and choose 1, after viewing my choice, at that point there is no 'Go Back Arrow" to select a different choice. I have to close out everything and go back to sign into home page.
    That wasn't always the case.

    1) which browser are you using. See below. This is your search from My Yahoo homepage in Edge. You can see the back button -

    2) is your search result opening in a new tab or window. If so, adjust browser setting so it opens in same window. If it opens in a new tab, there's nothing to 'go back' to. like this, depending on browser, see below)-

    3) set My Yahoo as your Home page in browser, so all you have to do to get back to it is click the house icon
