How can I tell if my SSD I just cloned to is "bootable" ?

I am cloning an existing SSD (my source drive) to another SSD (my target) I just bought.

I cloned partition by partition (for a good reason). How do I check if this target SSD is bootable or not? Is there a boot sector or something I can look for that confirms this disk is bootable ?

(Its going to be the C drive for my WIndows10 pc)

Replace the old SSD with the new one, try to boot from it.

Why don't you switch the cloned drive with existing and check?

    Beat me by a second

And to add to it: I prefer disk Imaging vs Cloning

You should have cloned the whole drive as you may not have got the boot sector

Imaging would not make it bootable. In theory Cloning should clone everything including the boot sector. I am using Macrium Reflect.

Leave it connected and ensure it is first on the boot menu.

The boot sector is in the EFI System Partition, ESP.

esp means efi system partition. Many bios expect it. Did you clone it?
